My Great Challenge (Completed and WIP)

So a few years back I offered to repaint this for my grandmother and at the time she wasn't so sure. This year she and her husband (my grandfather obviously) are moving to Nevada. Saturday when I was visiting she looked at me and asked holding that bread board, "Do you think you can restore this?" My reply being yes because I love my grandmother and I know how much this bread board means to her. Also how much it had upset her when it was ruined. It's been in her family for a while now, her grandparents had brought this over from Norway when they immigrated to America. This is my great challenge to restore this hand-painted bread board to it's
