Revit issue (HELP!)

In my Arch 1 class I've been trying to get rid of the fractions and yes before you ask I have asked my teacher/professor for help. So far he has said to just get rid of them. The issue is I will get rid of one fraction but it throws another measurement that was fine way off again. None of the walls are locked so I'm in need of a little help from someone other than my teacher.
